I’ve been a maker and an aesthete since I could walk. I never let my mom dress me for school, and had strong opinions about textiles and color patterns before I hit double digits. I have carried my youth with me in my artistic practice, exploring the intersection of sophistication and play across a variety of mediums and subjects. I tow that line carefully by mixing traditional and contemporary compositions and styles, pastels and muddy colors, and high and low mediums to find that harmonious equilibrium.
